There is a ton of technology involved in building an online presence. It takes time to learn. Hiring a professional can cost $100+/hr and the possibilities are endless. You need a website, well to have a website you need a domain name and hosting. You want to be able to update your content, maybe you need a content management system. Which one do you use? Now you need to customize and brand it. You want to sell things online? You need to take credit cards? How do you secure it? and then there is the: What about social media? Facebook? Twitter? Reddit? Blogging? You see where this is going! It’s a barrage of questions that doesn’t seem to stop. You could hire an employee to handle this, but you can only pay entry level pay for them. It’s hard to expect they would actually know how to do it at that rate. It’s an uphill battle and well, it’s a really hard one to win.
You need an employee
That’s where we come in. We’ve been in web development since 2008 and have built many different online presences. We know how to work to solve new problems, and have already solved many of the problems that you will have to work through when you start building your online presence.
Let’s say you hired a full time employee at $5.75 and hour. You end up paying them about $230 per week if they work a full week. That’s about $920 per month. It adds up, and assuming you find someone who can work for $5.75 an hour and learn the skills involved you’ll have to wait months, even years before they learn how to do the skills we’ve already learned.
There’s just not enough time to get things done. You need help, you need a team mate. Someone who will work with you to achieve your goals. Someone who has a good idea about how to create a successful website. If that were the scenario, then there’s a good chance you need someone like us.
But we don’t take on clients lightly. We want to make sure we’re going to work well together and that it’s going to be a positive relationship for both of us. So here’s a bit of what we look for in a client.
